In the current situation, we have often heard about the use and high demand of oxygen generators. But, what exactly are on-site oxygen generators? And, how do these generators work? Let’s understand that in detail here.
What are oxygen generators?
Oxygen generators generate oxygen of high purity level that is used to provide relief to people who have low blood oxygen levels. These generators are widely used in hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare centers to treat their patients. In hospitals, some medical devices are used to deliver oxygen to individuals suffering from breathing disorders.
How does an oxygen generator work to produce pure oxygen?
The working of the oxygen generator is relatively simple. These generators take the air from the atmosphere through the Air compressor. The compressed air goes to the sieves bed filter system that has two pressure vessels. When the compressed air enters the first sieves bed, the plant removes the nitrogen while pushing the oxygen into the tank. When the first bed of sieves gets filled with nitrogen, the compressed air shifts to the second sieves bed.

Surplus nitrogen and a little amount of oxygen from the first sieve bed is vented to the atmosphere. The process repeats when the second sieves bed is filled with nitrogen gas. This repeated process makes sure that there is an uninterrupted flow of concentrated oxygen into the tank.
This concentrated oxygen is given to patients having low oxygen levels in the blood and to patients suffering from respiratory problems due to the corona virus and others.
Why oxygen generators are an ideal choice?
Oxygen generators are an ideal choice for hospitals, nursing homes, and all healthcare facilities. It is an excellent alternative to traditional oxygen tanks or cylinders. MVS on-site oxygen generators provide you an uninterrupted supply on oxygen as and when you demand.
