Heat Tretment process requires high purity Nitrogen gas. Nitrogen being a gas with excellent inert properties is widely used in this industry for initial purging of furnace and in some applications for cooling of heat treated material coming from furnace. Elimination of oxygen is a key concern as presence of Oxygen may deteriorate surface of metals due to oxidation.
